Mike on the NCA stall before the procession arrived and he was inundated by cyclists after the free t-shirts, balloons, stickers and cycling information about routes and various Sustrans projects throughout the area. Free ‘Bike It’ t-shirts provided by Bury council’s Senior Transportation Officer, Nicola Lee. New design Bury cycle maps provided by Bury Council Greenspace Projects Manager, Chris Wilkinson. Many were seen wandering off with broad smiles and goody bags packed to the brim!

The CTC provided their literature and promotional items to encourage more people to become involved in cycling - it worked guys.

Also on hand were BMX and skateboard experts from the Phoenix Youth Centre, St Mary’s Park, cheered on by Kerry Freeman and James Perkins from Bury Youth Services.
